George Hightower was formally the husband to Constance Hatchaway. In 1877, George married Constance. He originally inherited the mansion before it became haunted. In the Stretching Room, his bust appears to have an axe planted on his head, revealing that Constance murdered her husband. There is also a photograph of George in attic with his head disappearing.
George's brother is Harrison Hightower III, the millionaire who built the Hotel Hightower in New York that disappeared on December 31, 1899. The hotel is now considered haunted, and is even called by some "the Tower of Terror" (Tokyo Disneysea).
